First and foremost I’m a sports broadcaster, it’s broad but I don’t just specialise in one area of sports media. I’m a director, vision mixer, camera operator, videographer and content creator.  I love what I do and want to bring sports stories to you in the best way possible.

 

 As you already know my name is Rachel Jones, I was born and raised in Cardiff. I knew that working in the media was the right career for me, making my way into the sports media world was just an added bonus. I'm a fluent Welsh speaker which has helped me break into the media world especially in the Welsh capital.

I'm a big sports fan but not that of your usual British sports, my speciality is Ice Hockey, but being Welsh Rugby flows through the veins.

I've had many great opportunities in my life, from directing live streams for the sport I love, to being a camera operator filming my childhood heroes at a festival. Be it creating content for social media, TV broadcasts or being the voice in someone's ear, it's the job I live for. Making people feel involved through a screen will forever be my aim.
