ITV Wales

During my time at ITV Wales I learnt a variety of different things about the career I aspire to work in. This was my first journalistic experience which gave me the key understanding of a professional newsroom and the responsibilities each and every journalist must consider when pursuing a story, including the interviewees, shots and script. Despite spending only two days there and only channeling reporters and producers I learnt more than I could have ever expected from my first professional work experience. I was given the opportunity to go out on live stories and was given the opportunity to watch the live broadcast from within the studio as well as the gallery.
